Programmatically refreshing a page in Webflow
This guide will help you easily trigger a page refresh if your use case requires it to advance users’ flows on your website.
To programmatically refresh a page on your Webflow site, we’re going to use MemberScript #15 – Refresh Page After Set Duration on Click. Follow the link to get the code you’ll need to add to your page and watch a video tutorial on how to set everything up.
Setting it up
This is a super quick and easy one – all you need to do is add the following attribute to the element that triggers the page refresh when interacted with:
· ms-code-refresh=”500”
The value’s in milliseconds and you can set it to whatever you feel is right for you.
Making it work
Now that you’ve got everything set up in Webflow, all you need to do is add the MemberScript #15 custom code to your page, before the closing body tag.
Conclusion
That’s everything, you can now go ahead and test the refresh on your live site.
