When you migrate from Webflow User Accounts to Memberstack, you're unlocking a ton of new features including social auth, passwordless logins, flexible user data, and more.

A lot of people talk about client-side rendering (CSR) vs server-side rendering (SSR).
CSR means the 'work' is happening on the end user's browser, whereas SSR means the 'work' is happening on the website's server, before it is even sent to the user.
This typically means that SSR is more secure than CSR.
By default, Webflow User Accounts is always SSR, whereas we don't have access to your website's server, so Memberstack does gating client-side.
That being said - there are multiple ways to gate content with Memberstack, including our hosted content feature, which gates your content at the server.
To conclude, the security of your Memberstack site really depends on how you set it up - if you have any questions, feel free to ask in our community Slack!
During migration, you will be able to export a list of all your members in Webflow User Accounts. You will then be able to upload that same list into Memberstack, and all of your members will be created!
If you add the member's Stripe customer ID to your Webflow CSV, the member's paid plans will also be imported into Memberstack.
Assuming you follow the migration guide, the only thing that won't carry over is your member's passwords - but, you can enable passwordless login to give them a seamless experience.
If you don't want to enable passwordless, you can send your users a password reset email.
