Removing section paths from URLs after navigation
If you use anchor links to send users to certain sections within your page, you’ll notice that the section will get added to the URL. This guide will help you ensure that your URLs remain clean regardless of whether the user clicked on an anchor link.
To remove section paths from URLs on a Webflow site, we’re going to use MemberScript #136 – Remove Section Path from URL. Follow the link to get the code you’ll need to add to your page and watch a video tutorial on how to set everything up.
Making it work
Literally all you have to do is add the MemberScript #136 custom code to your page, before the closing body tag.
You can either add the code on just the pages where you’ve got anchor links or you can add it sitewide.
Conclusion
That’s everything, you can now go ahead and test anchor links on your live site.
