Who you are, what does your project do, and why did you build it?

Hey! I'm Magnaem👋, a low-code developer from Namibia passionate about helping others build high-performing websites. I'm the Founder of Paperunikorn Agency and the co-founder of Billet, an EdTech startup.

I've seen firsthand the struggles no code and low-code developers face when trying to optimize their sites. Technical jargon, complex data, and lack of clear guidance make it difficult for newcomers to understand and act on optimization insights. That's why I created Websight, a tool that empowers users to create fast, efficient websites without getting bogged down in technical details.

Websight combines the strengths of Memberstack, Wized, Webflow and Google PageSpeed providing users with automated PageSpeed audits, and actionable recommendation reports and allowing users to easily analyze, export, or delete audits and reports.

‍What problems does Memberstack help you to solve?

I've actually been using Memberstack for years now, the very first project I built was a freelance marketplace with Memberstack 1.0 and just being able to add memberships and gate content at that level was mind blowing and it totally changed the way I think of building web apps with low code tools.

Memberstack has enabled me to offer premium content and features to paying members, unlocking so many revenue streams for me.

What are your favourite things about Memberstack? Why are those your favourites?

Memberstack is incredibly easy to use and the amazing community, resources and tutorials makes it even better for solving complex problems. I, for one, have heavily relied on the memberscripts and components libraries to get through builds 10 times faster. 🚀

How I built this

Building Websight involved several key steps and the very first ones we're watching as many tutorials on Wized Embed 2.0.

I started by designing and developing the website's front-end using Webflow, prioritizing a visually appealing and intuitive user interface. Next, I integrated Memberstack to handle user authentication, membership management, and gated content.

Wized was then incorporated to send requests to our database, ping OpenAI's API and so much more. Kudos to the Wized team for making 2.0 even more user friendly by the way.

I also set up a secure and scalable backend database using Supabase to store essential information. Integrating Google PageSpeed Insights API allowed for the generation of performance audits and to further enhance the platform, I leveraged OpenAI to analyze website audits and provide personalized recommendation reports to users.
