Displaying users’ country name on a Webflow site
If you’re offering localized products or services through your site, you may want to show users the country you’ve detected they’re in to confirm that they’re getting the correct localized content.
This guide will help you do just that in a quick and easy way using our custom Memberstack script.
To display users’ country name back to them, we’re going to use MemberScript #137 – Display the Visitors’ Country Name. Follow the link to get the code you’ll need to add to your page and watch a video tutorial on how to set everything up.
Setting it up
All you need to do on the site is write down a default string of text and add the following attribute to the specific portion of the text that will change based on the user’s country:
· ms-code-display-country=””
Making it work
Now that you’ve got everything set up in Webflow, all you need to do is add the MemberScript #137 custom code to your page, before the closing body tag.
Conclusion
That’s everything, you can now go ahead and test the country detection on your live site.
