Who you are, what does your project do, and why did you build it?

I previously ran Studiotime, which was a marketplace for booking music studios that we scaled to being international. I was always trying to connect with other marketplace founders, teams, & learn from operators. I saw the real need (for myself & others) for a dedicated community for marketplace founders & operators, so started Everything Marketplaces.

Fast forward to today and Everything Marketplaces is a community & world-class network of 2,500+ marketplace founders, teams, & leaders. Members range from early stage marketplace founders, to founders & leaders from top marketplaces like Thumbtack, Turo, Hipcamp, Airbnb, Whatnot, Flexport, Reibus, and more.

Everything Marketplaces is where founders go to learn, grow, and accelerate their marketplace startup. We support founders with our main platform & resources, products we've launched (Marketplace School, Co-founder match, jobs board, investor database), community, weekly events (both online & offline), and even back founders by investing in them through our early stage fund.

Initial ease of signup, being able to add functionality to our main platform (Webflow-based build), and also operate it as we scale.
